Important Update

NFPA 660 is Now in Effect

As of December 6, 2024, NFPA 660 consolidates all combustible dust standards into one comprehensive document.

What Changed

NFPA 660 replaces NFPA 652, 61, 484, 654, 655, and 664. One standard now covers all industries handling combustible dust — from food processing to metalworking.

DHA Still Required

The Dust Hazard Analysis requirement remains. If your facility handles combustible particulates, you need a DHA — and it must be revalidated every 5 years.

Time to Revalidate?

If your last DHA was completed in 2020 or earlier, you're due for revalidation. Our screening tool helps you assess your current compliance status.
